Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu
A hearty welcome at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to
hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu
Breakfast in hotel.
A full day sightseeing to take in the important historical and cultural
attractions of the Valley. Visit the center of the old city of Kathmandu.
The palace of the medival Malla kings "Hanuman Dhoka" and the
temple dedicated to the living goddess "Kumari" are the
highlights.
Afternoon visit the city of Bhaktapur, the best restored of the medieval
royal cities of the valley. The sightseeing tour comprises the famous "Golden
Gate", "Palace of 55 Windows" and the "Nyatapola Temple"
the valley's tallest. We return to Kathmandu City and our hotel. Rest of the
evening free.
Day 03 : Kathmandu/chitwan
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Early morning drive to Royal Chitwan National Park, one of the best
preserved of the nationals parks in Asia, habitat of the Royal Bengal Tiger
and the One-horned Iindian Rhinoceros. Check-in Jungle Resort. Proceed for
safari activities immediately with a briefing, elephant ride, jungle walks,
and canoe ride in pursuit of myriad flora and fauna. In the evening enjoy
cultural entertainment plus bonfire during winter.
Day 04 : Chitwan
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
We continue on our wildlife pursuits today in the presence of qualified
naturalists.
Day
05 : Chitwan/Pokhara
Breakfast After early breakfast we drive to Pokhra, the picturesque
mountain town located on the laps of the mighty Annapurna mountain range.
Check-in hotel. Afternoon enjoy boating (optional) and shopping.
Day 06 : Pokhara
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara. Visit: Bindebasini Temple,
Saiti George and Mahendra Caves. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 07 : Pokhara/kathmandu
Breakfast in hotel. Early breakfast and drive to Kathmandu. Afternoon takes
us to Patan also called "Lalitpur" or the beautiful city. A city
renowned for its arts and crafts, Patan recently opened its door to the
Patan Museum. Nearby are the "Krishna Temple", Hiranya Varna
Mahavihar" (Golden Monastery) and Mahabodhi Temple said to resemble the
one in Bodhgaya in India. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 08 : Depart Kathmandu
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Tribhuvan International airport to connect
flight for onward destination.
