to Ranthambore will deepen your love. Delight your sweet heart by spending
your honeymoon in the beautiful lush green, and tranquil surroundings of the
land of the wildlife. Earlier the hunting preserve of the Maharajas of
Jaipur, the Park at Ranthambore was once the scene of royal hunting parties.
Today, it is famous for its tigers and is one of the best places in the
country to see these majestic predators in the wild.
You would find yourself walking in dense forest in the company of your
darling. This is the time when you would not think of the sun, the moon, the
stars but only about your lover. You would walk as if you would never get
the chance to walk again. You would be in the company of your beloved in the
lap of nature. Time you pass in Ranthambhore in company of one another would
be memorable for both of you.
Biodiversity
Ranthambore has large herds of sambar, chital and nilgai. You would also
appreciate meeting with boar, chinkara, hare, mongoose and monitor lizards.
Lakes and pools of the Park are the best place to see the animals as they
congregate here to drink water. Among other animals you can find leopard,
hyena, jackal, jungle cats, sloth bear and marsh crocodile. Most seen bird
here is Peafowl. Other birds which can be seen here include Bonelli's eagle,
crested serpent eagle, the great Indian horned owl, quail, partridge, spur
fowl and the paradise flycatcher.
Magnificent
Tigers
The tiger reigns supreme in Ranthambore. Ranthambore is among the few
places in the world where this super-predator, symbol of power, strength and
magnificence, can be observed at close quarters. There are about 25 tigers
and 40 leopards in the reserve. One may have seen a tiger a hundred times,
yet each sighting is greeted with the same high-pitched intensity. Tigers
can be spotted quite often in their natural habitat even during daytime.
