to Reach
Air

Rail
Nearest railhead in the state is Jammu, 305km off Jammu. Trains from
various parts of the country arrive in Jammu Tawi. Trains originating from
cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata end in Jammu Tawi. Additional
trains are run during the holiday season.
Road
National Highway 1-A links Srinagar with Jammu. As with all hilly roads it
has several sharp inclines and hairpin bends. Famous Jawahar Tunnel across
the Pir Panjal range lies on this route. Deluxe and ordinary buses ply on
Jammu-Srinagar highway. Coach service is also available from Delhi. You can
